Review after half of the novel

So far so good. You’ve got my attention and I’m really looking forward to reading what comes next. This is a welcome change from the usual family infighting and near death treatment of family members. It’s truly a breath of fresh air. Now that Asher is married with children I am curious to see if the truth (once he learns it) will make a difference. Also, I can’t tell if his father is still living. If he is, will he kill Ari’s family if she spills?

Review after half of the novel

I love this story it’s so heart breathing that they can’t just be happy to see that they truly loved each other and have to be separated because of family obligation is horrible to think she has to raise their child alone and he is so angry at her not even knowing she had his child and she had to make the most devastating decision to save them all because she couldn’t be honest with him and hurt her family even though her mother didn’t even bother to think about her child’s feeling. I can’t wait to see what happens next when he finally finds out the truth why she left him the way she did and who her sons father is. What is he going to do when he finds out his own father wanted to marry the love of his life is he going to be able to forgive his father for all the pain he caused and for forcing him to an arranged marriage when he knew how much bis son loved Avery everyone is so against her not knowing why she did want she did to save her family and him all she ever wanted was to be his wife and live happily after with him but she wasn’t able to all because of who her family was all because they were considered to be lower than his family. I don’t think I would be able to just leave the man I love my first true love and have him hate me not knowing the really reason why I had to do what I did that I didn’t have just myself to think about but also the child I was growing. I side me she left ao

Good read. It keeps me on my toes. Why I have to write a long review. I don't know but I will keep writing until I get the 80 word minimum quota so here goes nothing. Good read. Review after half of the novel

I started this book out of curiosity and it grabbed me faster than I expected. The pacing is addictive — there’s always something happening that makes you think “just one more chapter.” Asher is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult male leads I’ve encountered. Controlling, harsh, cruel and deeply unfair toward Ariella — I genuinely cannot accept his character, at least not so far. There are moments where his behavior made me uncomfortable in ways that were hard to overlook. And yet, here I am, unable to put it down. Ariella’s story keeps pulling me forward. I want to see where this goes, whether things change, whether any of this tension leads somewhere meaningful. The author has a way of making you feel frustrated and curious at the same time — which is honestly a skill. It’s not a comfortable read, but it’s a compelling one. Recommended if you can handle a truly difficult hero.
