The Professor's Mate Clause Reviews

The story is interesting and I want to read more but there are several inconsistencies in the details or repeated paragraphs that sometimes make it hard to fully get the right details in your head. The title suggests there is a significant age difference but I don’t often feel there is that much when the two characters are interacting. The only time I remember they were professor and student is when they specifically bring it up. Additionally there are other details in the surroundings that don’t make sense for example when describing a location it was mentioned specifically as a penthouse but throughout several chapters there is an “upstairs/downstairs” and now a basement? It’s confusing to understand the setting.

So far I really like this book. The characters are well developed, and so far so good with the story line. I’ve only made it to Chapter 41, so my review is based on how much I have read. The one thing that I would have liked to see a little bit more developed, would be for her mother’s journal to have more to them, than the little bit that was shared when she decided to read them. Since the mother and father are already dead, I would have loved to know a bit more of their love story that could have been shared through the journal.

This book is terrific. I look forward to reading each chapter. I tense up when Freya is in trouble. I say hurray when Adrian keeps his patience and love for her. Sometimes I get peeved when Freya feels that she was betrayed by Clara when Freya knows she didn’t know the werewolves world. Now that she knows and is finally accepting this reality, I hope she will get her heart and head in line with what she has yet to discover. I want Adrian to push for her to be able to get her wolf unbound. I think they need to complete the mate bond.

Great start to the novel and am only 25 chapters in but so far, so good. Probably dragged out the running away from him part too long as it makes her look illogical & stupid for no plot reason so I assume it is to drag it out. This is a pity because the plot is interesting yet it doesn’t develop fast enough. If it drags out further on in a similar way then will not finish the book or just jump to the last chapter.

Love the plot, and the characters backstories are cool and good - it’s sad to a good extent when relating to the backstories and more, but I like the happiness written in aswell! One of the only problems I have is that at the start, it’s quite difficult to settle straight in becuase of the characters is persistence and stubbornness making the FL quite unlikeable at the beginning. Although that fades, I almost lost interest becuase it it! Overall good book though x

It is a Fast-paced storyline with plenty of drama, romance, and action. The chemistry between Freya and Professor Adrian keeps readers engaged. It has Interesting mix of forbidden romance, werewolf lore, hidden powers, and revenge. Reading this story keeps us wanting to keep reading after the initial betrayal and plot twists. number of packs and characters introduced. hidden powers, dangerous enemies, and a fated mate bond. As secrets unravel, Freya discovers she is far more than an ordinary human. content warnings. That’s all

This story is really really really great! Wish the chapters were longer for the cost of each chapter. Chapters are shorter than other novels I have read on this app. So that is disappointing. The store is a some what repetitive with the main characters POV occurrences. That’s a disadvantage to the reader. I would recommend combing the POV’s into one chapter to hold the readers attention. Because nobody likes the same story told twice but nothing new.

Really great story I love it and would like to read more stories like this keep up the good work I hope to read more for you in the near future please keep it up and the characters and their development is great I’m glad she chose to stay with him and is learning what she is gonna be soon and not running away she is stronger than she believes in herself keep it up bc I love stories like this. I hope that he can keep her out of danger and nothing bad happens to her or him and the pack bc nobody like them deserves to die but the bad guys who deserves everything that will happen to them bc they are ruthless and don’t need to hurt freya bc is innocent and deserves to be happy with her alpha deserves a real chance at being loved and happiness even tho she has lost her parents at a young age and now that her teacher is her mate hopefully nothing bad happens to them or Clara I hope she forgives her best friend who was only trying to keep her safe and I hope their bond becomes stronger and that everything will be back to somewhat normal for her she has a beautiful soul and deserves the world hopefully but like I said keep up the good work and keep writing bc your are very creative with the story plot and the characters development please add more books and the creativity bc you are amazing and know what the story should be about bc I love stories that contain werewolves and other supernatural characters please add vampires and witches to the next story if you decide to write more books in the near future please do.

It needs cleaned up. Repeated scenes with big changes to them. Can’t tell if Kael or Adrian is talking. Changes in plot line. It’s a good book just needs cleaned up. I like how it wasn’t t just a “oh you’re my mate now I throw everything away and just accept it as my new reality.” Like if that actually happened we all know no one would bend over and take it at face value. It’s refreshing

At first the main character Freya started getting under my skin and not in a good way. She really irritated me and showed signs of how very immature she was. Then as I kept reading she suddenly surprised me by accepting Adrian and slowly accepting what she is. I am really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out in the end. I just really hope she does not go back to being immature again. I also hopes she learns quickly who she can trust and who her enemies are.
