Into The Trap

Sansa’s POV

“Run!!”

"How long are you going to run away, baby?" His voice echoed in my ears, filling me with deep fear. I couldn’t see him, and just hearing his voice was enough to terrify me.

“Don’t be shy, baby, your alpha is here to claim you,” he said sweetly, making sure his voice got through to me.

I was sweating in the cold, running for how long I couldn’t remember I he dark jungle, running as if I couldn’t stop, as if my life depended on the steps I was taking to get away.

“Baby? Where have you gone?” He was having pleasure while looking around the jungle.

I hid behind the largest rock as his soldiers passed by, trying to steady my breathing and calm my racing heart.

“Farkas saw them here near the river, so they must be around,” his guy said.

I peeked out from behind the rock with my traumatized eyes as the man hunting me stood with his 6 men, appearing like their alpha. A strong masculine personality.

All had the longest grey beard touching their chest, long hair, dragon tattoos on their faces, and masculine bodies like their Alpha. The alpha covered his face behind the black mask.

“Bring her to me, Alive!” Alpha said as he looked around. His piercing eyes had previously stopped on me, so I moved away from him.

I held my breath as his footsteps approached, and as they became louder, I resumed my run.

My hair was flapping in the wind, my vision was fuzzy in the mist and cold, and my eyes were always looking for a secure place to hide. I was running for my life in a blue nightgown on a snowy night, barefoot. My body was as cold as ice.

I had never seen them before, and I didn’t know why they wanted to harm me. I couldn’t remember how I got there. The last thing I remembered was standing with Levine when the entire Oak Pack was killed — even Alpha Xavier when Elodie s*ck*d his soul out of him. I had always wanted to be free of him, yet he gave up his life to save me, and that left me with a strange feeling inside.

The terrifying sounds of wild animals echoed through the dark forest. It was the middle of the night, and I could barely breathe. My body felt numb, and my heart was pounding so hard it felt like it might explode.

I looked at him when he was directly in front of me, our eyes locked, my heart raced faster than ever, and the last moment of my life arrived when I looked around and saw no one but him. I began to run oppositely.

“How long will you run?” alpha yelled behind me as he led his men after me.

“You will never escape,” he laughed louder as if I were an ant he could kill with a single modest effort. With his people, he was chasing me like a hungry hound. His dark sea eyes were fixed on me.

I observed a young woman running ahead of me a few inches. Just like me, the odd people were going to eat me alive if I didn’t flee.

She was panting, and it was painful for her to continue. Her split-second decision could lead to her death.

“Now it’s time for you to die,” he declared.

I looked back at the hunter, who was trying to catch me with a long, fancy stick that had a dragon’s head carved on the end.

I collided with the tree in front of me and flipped to the ground. For a few seconds, my eyesight became blurry, and I was catching my breath when my entire body became paralyzed and I felt dizzy.

As he approached me, I made every effort to move my body. With my heavy headache, I pushed my body back with both hands.

He walked toward me slowly, teasing me because he knew I couldn’t move.

“I said something, remember?” he asked teasingly.

“Who are you? What do you want from me?” I asked in fear, my voice trembling.

“You can run, you can hide, but you can’t escape me,” he remarked calmly as his men gathered around him.

“I’m not sure what you’re talking about,” I said in a shaky voice when he didn’t seem to acknowledge me.

“It was for your own good, baby. You never trusted me, not from the beginning,” he teased.

“I swear to God, I --- ” He interrupted me in the middle of a sentence.

“Did I not warn you? However, you did not listen,” he said.

I was trembling in the bushes, wearing only my blue nightgown, as I heard twigs snapping and leaves rustling. I could feel that a stranger was hunting me like a hungry dog in the dark night.

I kept asking myself, How did I get here? What’s happening? I tried hard to understand.

“Now face the consequences,” he whispered, his terrifying eyes fixed on me.

“I don’t kn --- ” he cut me off in the middle of my sentence again.

“I’m your mate, but you chose him over me!” he snarled, his anger rising suddenly.

“Mate? My mate? I don’t understa—” I began, confused and upset by what this stranger was saying. Before I could finish, he interrupted me again, and I noticed his men moving in closer, surrounding me.

He crouched down and pulled off his black mask. A dragon tattoo covered most of his face, and a deep scar marked his left cheek. He kept kept looking at me when he got on my nerves.

“What if I kill him right in front of your eyes and forcefully mark you, whether you like it or not, and make you mine?” he added seductively as he moved closer to me on his knees with a grin.

“I---” he wouldn’t let me say.

“Can you tell me how you feel about that?” he inquired softly, with a seductive tune

“Listen, you are mistaken. I am not the one you are looking for. I have never seen you before. We have never met. Trust me, I am not the---” I murmured shakily.

“Raven Elsher,” a woman’s confident voice called out from behind me.

I heard the sound of her dress as I turned around and saw a beautiful woman sitting on the ground. She was pregnant. I was shocked when she said my father’s name—he had died when I was 14. How could she know his name?

What was her name, and how did she know about my father? The thought caught my attention and left me speechless.

Her long, shiny hair moved gently with the breeze, and her pale face looked even more beautiful in the moonlight.

She was so stunning that anyone could fall for her. I had never seen a woman so beautiful before, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

The scary Alpha crawled toward me on his knees, his eyes burning with a strange passion. My heart started to race, and I quickly stepped aside as he moved toward the woman instead.

“He is the one, and he will always be the only one,” she said calmly, staring straight at the Alpha.

Without hesitation, he slapped her across the face.

Rejected Mate

"Stop talking! You should be ashamed of saying that human's name, Bit**," he yelled fiercely.

"Why? Are you envious of that person?" when she didn't appear to be terrified of him, she teased with a grin on her face.

He grabbed her hair once the pain had passed, and she winced in agony.

“He’s just a worthless human!” he shouted angrily. “How dare you think about him when humans are our enemies?”

“No, he’s not an enemy! He doesn’t want a war, he—” she tried to speak, but he cut her off before she could finish.

“How long will it take for you to introduce me to him? How long will you keep making a fool of yourself?” he yelled, yanking her hair harder. “He’s Falkor’s son—a cruel, bloodthirsty hunter who’s trying to hunt us down!”

Did he just mention Falkor, the bloodthirsty hunter? How did he become aware of my grandfather? I had no idea my grandfather was a hunter who used to hunt werewolves; I assumed he was just a sheriff.

"He keeps
