Somehow this author can't write a story without turning the male lead into a huge as$hole who treats his mate horribly. Even if the character formerly seemed kind and decent. Still, I liked Richard before and I at least want to get to the part with the Happy End. One warning: the story is about s€x servants and abuse and kinda demeaning to women..... Apparently I have to write way more than that before I can send this review. Weird. I don't know what else to say right now so I just say something to fill it with words. Like... I'm sad we didn't got more about Rowan and Aylin. I was way more interested in that couple than in Jake and Jane. But maybe Rowan was just not a-hole enough to get more screen time. 🙄
