Annotation
To end a generations-long feud, Alpha Modric Volkov of Ironclaw Pack is forced into a political marriage with Mary Ann Sterling, the plus-size daughter of Mooncrest Pack’s Alpha. Bitter over losing the woman he believes he loves, Modric makes it clear he’ll never accept Mary Ann as his true Luna. As she endures his coldness and the relentless cruelty of her childhood bully, Velvera, Mary Ann quietly earns the love and respect of the entire pack through her strength, kindness, and unwavering dignity. But by the time Modric realizes he has fallen hopelessly in love with the wife he once despised, Mary Ann may no longer have any love left to give.

I am enjoying the book. It is straight to the point. There is not a lot of scenic description, rooms are only described as needs must. The characters on the other hand, and what they are wearing are given full descriptions. Quite a few times I have wanted to give the Alpha a swift kick in the butt, but that just adds to the enjoyment of the book. I am impressed by the strong Luna character, her clarity, stubbornness and commitment. It has the receipe for a good story.
