If you completed a payment but your subscription benefits haven't appeared, try these steps:
1. Wait a few minutes and refreshSubscription activation can take up to 10 minutes after payment. Close and reopen the app, or refresh the web page.
2. Log out and log back inLogging out and back in forces the app to sync your account status from our servers.
3. Check you're logged into the correct accountMake sure you're using the same login method (email, Google, or Apple) that you used when you subscribed. Subscription benefits are linked to a specific account.
4. Verify the payment completed- iOS: Check your App Store purchase history (Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Purchase History).
- Android: Check Google Play order history.
- Web: Check your email for a payment confirmation receipt.
If no purchase appears in your history, the payment may not have been processed. Do not attempt to purchase again until you've confirmed whether the first charge went through — contact support to avoid being double-charged.

A charge after cancellation is usually caused by one of these reasons:
- Cancellation was not completed — the cancellation process has multiple steps. If you stopped partway through, the subscription may still be active.
- Timing — if you cancelled close to your renewal date, the payment may have already been processed before the cancellation took effect. Your subscription will then remain active until the end of the paid period.
- Multiple subscriptions — you may have subscribed on more than one platform (e.g. iOS and web). Cancelling on one does not cancel the other.
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AlphaNovel
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Web: Your account settings → Subscription

Requesting a refund for the unexpected chargeContact our support team at [email protected] with:
- Your registered email address
- The date and amount of the charge
- Confirmation that the subscription is now cancelled
For App Store or Google Play charges, refunds must be requested directly through Apple or Google — see Refund and money-back policy for details.
Subscription payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) for app purchases, and by our payment processor for web purchases. Refund eligibility depends on which platform you subscribed through:
iOS (App Store)Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. AlphaNovel cannot process refunds for App Store transactions on your behalf.
Android (Google Play)Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be submitted directly to Google Play. You can request a refund within 48 hours of purchase through the Google Play app or order history page. After 48 hours, contact Google Play support.
Web platformIf you subscribed on the web, contact our support team at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge. Include your registered email, the charge amount, and the date of purchase. We review each case individually.
Coin purchasesCoins purchased and used to unlock chapters are generally non-refundable. If you were charged but did not receive your coins, contact support — see I don't receive coins after purchase.
Unauthorized chargesIf you see a charge you did not authorise, contact support immediately at [email protected]. Include your registered email and the charge details. We will investigate and, where applicable, issue a refund.
iOS users:
You can cancel your subscription through the AppStore:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.
Android users:
To be assisted with a cancellation request, follow these instructions:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store.
- Check to make sure you're signed in to the correct Google Account.
- Tap Menu > Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the instructions provided.
